Splint benefits

When conservatively (i.e. without surgery) treating finger sprains, strained or overstretched tendons and ligaments, degenerative conditions or finger arthritis, it is very important to keep the fingers in a suitable splint. A well-designed finger splint can help reduce pain that causes discomfort or pain when performing daily tasks. Thanks to the special innovative Chrisofix finger splint design, the aluminum core, which forms the splint frame, ensures sufficient stability and precise fit, thus preventing unwanted and unpleasant symptoms that can be caused by improperly fitted splints (pain due to pressure and skin irritation symptoms).

Features

• Chrisofix products are pre-formed and ready to use, they contain all the necessary components, straps and pads. Although we offer a size selection and side options – left, right or both-sided products – you can still precisely adjust and fully adapt the splint to the relevant patient body area.
• Stable ring fixation – flexi fix. Chrisofix can ensure unique, flexible and adjustable immobilization along with joint stability. Highest quality splints with textile straps ensure stable semi-circular fixation. All straps have high-quality medical adhesive.
• All Chrisofix splints are X-ray transparent, so they do not need to be removed – even when performing an X-ray examination.
• Breathable – perforated splint structure. The perforated and lightweight design ensures breathability and protects against sweating and itching.
• Hygienic comfort. Chrisofix splints ensure more convenient daily hygiene. The splints can be quickly removed, washed and put back on.
• Splint material: polyethylene (PE) foam, polyamide (PA) velour, cotton, corrugated and perforated aluminum (EN AW-1050A).

• PIP (proximal interphalangeal) joint fixation
• DIP (distal interphalangeal) joint fixation
• Finger injuries, fractures, tendon injuries and strains
• Degenerative conditions/arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, gout, autoimmune diseases
• Postoperative rehabilitation

Application. The finger must be inserted into the splint. The latter must be carefully adjusted to the finger, pressing gently. The splint can be secured with the included velcro fasteners. Frequent bending and pulling of the splint can damage its stability; bending should only be performed when necessary. Fine adjustment, readjustment (e.g., as soft tissue swelling decreases) can be performed without removing the splint.

Delivery

We deliver goods to your specified address, or you can pick them up free of charge at Statybininkų g. 7, Kaunas. The delivery price is calculated based on the shipment's weight, dimensions, and delivery address and is displayed before confirming the order. Delivery terms for large or non-standard shipments can be agreed individually.

Delivery times are indicated next to the goods. Upon receiving the shipment, we recommend immediately checking its packaging, the condition of the goods, and the completeness of the set.

Returns

You can return goods within 30 days of receiving them. The returned goods must be unused, undamaged, have not lost their appearance, be in the original neat packaging, and include the full set.

Goods can be delivered to the address Statybininkų g. 7, Kaunas, LT-50118 or sent via a selected courier. The buyer pays the standard return delivery costs. If you received defective or incorrect goods, the seller will arrange their return.

Money is refunded to the payer's bank account within 14 business days after checking the condition of the returned goods and receiving the necessary documents.
