The swivel plate is placed on the car seat and connected to the seat, allowing it to be rotated by 90°. This feature allows the front of the seat to be turned towards the door, making it significantly easier to put the child in or take them out of the seat. The plate can be rotated to the right or left (optional).
To use the swivel plate, an adapter must be purchased.
