The alternating pressure mattress set for pressure ulcer prevention consists of an alternating pressure mattress and a compressor (pump) with a remote control. The alternating pressure system is cyclically and alternately inflated by the compressor (zones A and B). The mattress has a function allowing the patient to be turned to the right/left, as well as raising the head and leg sections. The mattress is made of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) – a flexible and durable material that combines the properties of rubber and plastic. The mattress has a CPR function (rapid air release from the chambers when resuscitation is required). The compressor has three operating modes: alternating pressure mode, sleep mode, and massage mode.
The alternating pressure mattress for pressure ulcer prevention belongs to the auxiliary equipment intended for persons who are at an increased risk of developing pressure ulcers. It is used for people who lie down for long periods, persons with impaired peripheral circulation, as well as persons who show signs of subcutaneous or open skin damage caused by prolonged pressure. The mattress is used both for the prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers up to stage III (according to NPUAP/EPUAP). The principle of operation is based on the cyclic change of pressure at the support points of the lying person, thereby reducing pressure on the body parts that are at the highest risk of developing pressure ulcers. In this way, the mattress ensures better blood circulation to the body parts that are in the longest contact with the surface. It should be noted that the principle of operation of the mattress cannot eliminate all causes of pressure ulcers, but it can significantly limit their development.
The contraindications for using the alternating pressure mattress are determined by the treating physician during subjective and objective examinations. It is generally recognized that the mattress cannot be used in cases where the alternating change of pressure at the support points causes the patient pain or worsens the course of their illness.

Delivery

Returns
You can return goods within 30 days of receiving them. The returned goods must be unused, undamaged, have not lost their appearance, be in the original neat packaging, and include the full set.
Goods can be delivered to the address Statybininkų g. 7, Kaunas, LT-50118 or sent via a selected courier. The buyer pays the standard return delivery costs. If you received defective or incorrect goods, the seller will arrange their return.
Money is refunded to the payer's bank account within 14 business days after checking the condition of the returned goods and receiving the necessary documents.
